Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province has implemented industry promotion tasks to support businesses in applying advanced technology and modern machinery into production, contributing to increasing labor productivity, reducing production costs and limiting environmental pollution.
Support programs on applying modern equipment and machinery into production and building technical demonstration models often account for large proportion in Ba Ria-Vung Tau’s industry promotion programs. According to statistics, the province had 11, 17 and 21 support programs among 27, 39 and 33 industry promotion programs in 2012, 2013 and 2014, respectively.

One of the province’s outstanding projects is the Nam Bach Co., Ltd.’s civil furniture production line. The project will create jobs for 20 local workers with an average income of VND4 million per person per month.

In the early months, the center tested two support projects on applying modern equipment and machinery into production. The support project on investing in the Chu Lai Co., Ltd.’s civil furniture drying system with a support industry promotion budget of VND90 million deployed in August 2013 was completed with a capacity of 25cu.m per turn and the project on recycling scrap plastic was put into operation with a capacity of 1,700kg per day.
